The darling buds of May 2012
Two big projects are keeping me busy these days, but it gives me a good excuse to procrastinate on the bookkeeping.... Check out The Good Life Blog for pics, story, and upcoming events on our TreeYoga™ Grove and our 2012 Camp Utopia Teacher Training Class.
If you want to know more about TreeYoga ™ you can check it out at their websites: treeyoga.org, and treeyogajournal.com Indoor TreeYoga™ has begun!
Our indoor grove is complete and I'm set to spend the summer teaching and playing and sharing this fun, powerful, blissful yoga practice with people young and old. Check out the photos or follow the story on the blog above, and come and take a class this summer - no matter what your level of fitness is, there's fun for you in the trees. Most of these women are 40 - 70 years young. So awesome!
Teachers in Training
Every session of Camp Utopia teacher training is themed around one of the chakras - so pre-prep is always big fun for me - shopping for the most delicious and nutritious foods by color each weekend makes it easy and playful. This season, I splurged on hand made notebooks and journals, embroidered school tote bags, and sippy cups. Plus we learn amazing things too. It's all in the good life blog.

Welcome to Airstream Yoga. I'm Helen, and I have found my purpose. I live in an Airstream travel trailer on a 10 acre piece of Texas Hill Country with my husband, dog and 2 cats, and teach yoga in nearby Wimberley. I've got an over-abundance of energy and a devotion to serving others, so I spread it around as much as possible.
Teaching.
The Still Water Studio.
I have a small yoga studio with lots of classes - we've got HOT yoga and Hatha yoga and Kundalini and meditation classes there, and next door my partners offer massage and hypnosis, reiki and reiki training. Every day there is perfect. Teacher Training.
Camp Utopia
is a Yoga Alliance recognized school (RYS200) and I am an experienced registered yoga teacher at the 500 hour level (E-RYT500). We have 9 weekends of intensive information and practice, and you come out the other side a good teacher with lots of skills. Our fall session will begin in late August. Need more info? Karma Yoga Practice.
The Wimberley Mayors Fitness Council
I sit on the board of a volunteer council dedicated to promoting all forms of healthier living in our community. Our goal is to become The Fittest Little Town in Texas, and we keep busy with regular monthly full moon walks, an annual health fair, and the MFC $2 Community Fitness Class, that I teach twice a week in the main hall of the Wimberley Community Center. Class starts at 9 am every Monday & Friday, costs $2, and works on everybody 9 - 90. Bring a mat and blanket if you can. |
